Updated 2026-06-02
007 First Light multiplayer brings competitive spy-versus-spy action across four distinct modes. IO Interactive has designed each mode to emphasise stealth, gadget play, and tactical positioning rather than twitch shooting. This guide covers every 007 First Light multiplayer mode, the launch map roster, ranked play structure, and the unlock progression tied to online play.
Multiplayer modes overview
| Mode | Players | Objective | Round Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Agent Hunt | 4v4 | Eliminate the rival team using gadgets and stealth | 10 min |
| Extraction | 4v4 | Retrieve intel cases and extract via exit points | 12 min |
| Disguise Match | 4v4 | Identify and eliminate disguised enemies without killing allies | 8 min |

Ranked play and rewards
Ranked 007 First Light multiplayer unlocks at account level 10. The ranked mode uses a skill-based matchmaking system with five tiers: Operative, Agent, Double-O, Legend, and MI6 Elite. Each tier has three divisions. Winning matches earns Rank Points, while losing deducts them. Season one rewards include exclusive weapon skins, player card backgrounds, and a unique cosmetic outfit for reaching MI6 Elite. Ranked seasons last eight weeks with a two-week off-season.
Launch map list
007 First Light multiplayer launches with six maps: Thames House (London), Casino Royale (Monaco), Desert Outpost (Morocco), Alpine Facility (Swiss Alps), Dockyard (Monaco Port), and Training Grounds (MI6 simulation). Each map supports all four modes. Alpine Facility and Casino Royale are the most popular in ranked rotation. IO Interactive has committed to two free maps per season throughout year one, with the first dropping in the mid-season update.
